VMworld – What Happened on day 1

I am not at the VMworld in the US this year, but I have followed it closely on the web and twitter. Here is some of the new announcements I find particular interesting.

vSphere 5.1 Announced with a lot of new features (Including Enhanced vMotion without requirement for shared storage)

Licensing changed. no more vRAM (Thank you for that) link

vCloud suite announced alle Enterprise+ customers get free upgrade to vCloud suite Standard. 

New VMware Certifications link

There has happened so much in the first day of VMworld. It is crazy. If you want to follow it yourself the watch the hashtag #VMworld on twitter
